The Raspberry Royalty promote community service, volunteerism, and personal growth for young ladies within the local community. We provide these options via travel around the state, city, and civic events, and forging new relationships.

Hopkins Raspberry Festival Princess Violet Lasley is an upcoming junior at Eagle Ridge Academy who loves being active in her community. She enjoys volleyball, reading, camping, working, and participating in social events.
Violet has volunteered many times with Feed My Starving Children and foster dog organizations, and she also serves on her school’s Student Senate, helping plan and support school activities.
She is passionate about spreading kindness, helping others succeed, and living with purpose —always believing that life is what you make it, and everything can be fun when you bring a positive spirit!

Hopkins Raspberry Princess Catherine Le Grand is a freshman at the University of Minnesota, where she is pursuing her passion for STEM— especially biology. She has been dancing since age four and trains with Minnesota Ballet School, performing in productions like The Nutcracker.
Catherine earned two scholarships to the Oklahoma City Ballet School (2024, 2025) and placed Top 24 at the Youth America Grand Prix (Kansas City 2025). She also assists in teaching ballet to young children.
Outside of dance, she loves French language and culture and volunteers with Feed My Starving Children, Sharing and Caring Hands, and at her church, St. Mary of the Lake.
She previously served as Hopkins Raspberry Festival Jr. Queen (2016–2017) and was a Royalty Candidate last year.
Catherine plans to study Biomedical Engineering, participate in study abroad, earn a master’s degree, and pursue a research-based career.

Hopkins Raspberry Queen Citlalli Marin-Beltran is 21 years old and grew up in Hopkins, where the Raspberry Festival has been a joyful part of her life since childhood. She is currently earning her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and plans to attend law school.
With a strong belief in the power of education, she hopes to use her knowledge to serve others and inspire women of color and youth to pursue their dreams. Citlalli has made the Dean’s List three times and has had one of her written works published in her college’s literary magazine.
Service has always been important to her. She spent summers volunteering at St. Gabriel the Archangel’s Faith Service Camp, joined a mission trip to Kentucky, and now serves as a catechist helping youth prepare for their First Communion. Creativity is another big part of her life. During her gap year, she completed cosmetology courses in acrylic and gel manicures.
She also enjoys writing poetry, gardening with her dad and sharing fresh produce with the community, collecting jewelry and vinyl, and caring for her cat, Juno.
The generous support of our sponsors helps us continue the long-standing tradition.
