Since 1935, the Raspberry Festival has connected the community, supported local businesses, and promoted Hopkins by honoring our past, celebrating our present, and inspiring our future. The festival has been held the third weekend of July for 90 years.
Each year, a medallion about the size of your palm is hidden somewhere in Hopkins during the festival. The person who finds it first earns a $300 cash prize.
You are invited to come down to the dock to try and catch as many fish as possible.

Join us for our movie night at Maetzold Field. Bring a blanket and spend an evening enjoying a baseball themed movie. Concession stand will be open with a variety of food and treats.
Calling all amateur chalk artists! Put your creative hat on and join the fun of decorating the ARTery and the sidewalks of Mainstreet.
The entire community of Hopkins turns out on Mainstreet to enjoy food and nearly 200 vendors displaying their products.
The Wild Boar hosts the Hopkins Raspberry Association pull tabs and meat raffles, as well as sponsors the annual fireworks show on the evening of Family Day.
This one day, double-elimination men's tournament is limited to the first 12 teams. Teams must register by June 30 under the team manager's account.
The Hopkins Westwind Concert Band invites you to come to Hopkins to enjoy the many Family Day activities on Mainstreet and to stop in at Downtown Park where you can relax in the shade and enjoy the band music. Additional information can be found here.

JCI Hopkins and the Hopkins Raspberry Association have teamed up and merged the Street Dance and Families in the Park event to provide various entertainment for both young and old in Hopkins Central Park!
Zoom down Hilltop Park in your self-built racer at the Soap Box Derby, where young speedsters aged 6 to 16 compete for glory and trophies by racing non-motorized cars down a hill, with a chance to show off their engineering skills, speed, and sportsmanship in front of family and friends.
Memories of the glory days of cruising Hopkins Mainstreet in the 50s, 60s and 70s are brought back each Raspberry Festival with a reunion cruise after the Marketplace Fair clears out.
