The Hopkins Running of the Bulls features family/kids games, activities, dog adoption event and puppy parade hosted by Warrior Dog Rescue followed by a fun and safe 1K dash down Mainstreet while staying ahead of the “Roller Bulls” (North Star Roller Derby and Minnesota Men’s Roller Derby – MMRD). A massive party follows with live music, beer garden with LTD Brewing, and food trucks! Come to watch the race for free or sign up to run at hopkinsrunningofthebulls.com. Since the 1960’s, students from all over the Hopkins School District have participated in the Junior Royalty candidate program, culminating with the Junior Royalty Coronation & Dance. Cheer on our candidates, bid farewell to our reigning Junior Royalty and welcome our new Junior Royalty to the Royal Family.
The tradition of Hopkins Raspberry Festival Royalty dates back to the very beginning of the Hopkins Raspberry Festival. Come join our reigning Royalty give their farewell, and congratulate the newly crown Raspberry Royalty continue a Hopkins tradition more than eight decades in the making. Stay for the Royal Ball and celebrate with dozens of visiting Royalty from communities all around Minnesota.
JCI Hopkins is an organization providing professional and personal growth through training, networking, and community involvement. Membership is open to men and women ages 18-40. Live music courtesy of In2ition. Beer, and food trucks are provided for those over 21.
Featuring boys and girls high school rugby teams and a middle school showcase. Coaches’ meeting/players gather at 8:30 a.m., games begin at 9 a.m. For more information, visit www.hopkinsrugby.com.
The entire community of Hopkins turns out on Mainstreet for Family Day to enjoy food, music and dozens of vendors displaying their crafts. There are family oriented activities available in Central Park.
The Marketplace Arts and Craft Fair takes place on Mainstreet between 6th and 14th Avenues and includes: vendors, local business displays, artists with crafts, clothing, art, woodwork, merchandise, food and beverages. There is plenty to do at this event so come early and shop! This event is held rain or shine.
